Your safety and the safety of those around you is of the highest importance.
We have carefully examined our existing procedures, and added best practices and approaches from the BC Hotel Association, BC Restaurant Association, BC Interior Health, and BC CDC, in order to make sure our spaces and amenities remain as safe as possible for you.
Safety is a team sport, and each of us has an important role to play. Protect your health while traveling and arrive healthy, so you are ready to explore. We will ask you to confirm that you are healthy as part of our check-in process. Wearing a mask while indoors, proper social distancing, and diligent hygiene will go a long way to reducing the risk for you as well as our employees during your stay with us. Likewise, our team will complete temperature checks and a health screening before beginning any shift to ensure your safety when interacting with us.
Our amenities, from breakfast to hot tub and from roof lounge to parking, remain open. However, you will find new instructions in place for experiencing them in the safest and best way possible. We ask for your patience and participation as we work hard to serve you under these new circumstances. Together, we will maintain our high level of luxury and personal service within a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved.
Just a few of our safety protocols include hand sanitizer at entrances, guest rooms, and lounge; food-grade sanitizer used throughout property; indoor mask usage required in hotel and restaurant; guest-access only to hotel floors; and, hot tub reservations.
While with us, you will witness our continuous sanitizing practices in all common spaces. Should you forget a mask at any point, stop by our front desk to get one. Should you wish to eat take-out, our roof lounge is well appointed to allow you to enjoy your food in a safe and distanced environment.
Your room will be carefully prepared for your arrival, and our housekeeping team will not enter during your stay. Feel free to text message with us when you need items replenished, especially if staying for multiple nights.
British Columbia is managing COVID-19 well, with science and public safety clearly in mind. Revelstoke’s small size, remote location, lack of crowds, and involved citizens combine to position us confidently as a safe and welcoming destination. With only 9 rooms in our hotel, limited seating in our restaurant, and a focus on your safety, The Explorers Society is a smart choice to call home while here.
