We believe in eating good food. Through working with local farms, boutique ranchers, and wild/sustainable fisheries, we create innovative takes on timeless cuisine for the modern diner. Crafting carefully, in-house, and from scratch is our way of doing things because good food shared amongst good people is a powerful source of connection, emotion, and joy. We believe our lives are precious, and there is not time or reason to eat mediocre food.   • My partner and I visited Quartermaster Eatery for dinner last night and enjoyed one of the best food experiences either of us has had in a very long time, and we’re both from Vancouver and have had our share of fine dining experiences there. My partner and I are not vegan or vegetarian by any stretch, but we do love vegetables, and the menu reflected someone who also had an appreciation for fresh quality vegetables. The two starters we had, one grilled summer squash dish and a chef’s special featuring smoked oyster mushrooms both put their ingredients on display in creative and incredibly flavorful ways. They weren’t an after thought but something that had love put into them. For our mains we had the BC Sturgeon and the smoked gnocchi, and again both dishes respected and used their ingredients in ways that really brought out the best in them.

  • What an evening! Faultless and attentive service. The food was truly delicious; well balanced dishes, beautifully presented and plenty on the plate too! On our waiter’s recommendation we tried venison tartare, pulled pork, duck breast and venison tenderloin and were very happy with our choices – all perfectly cooked. Great selection of local wines too. Would thoroughly recommend and will be returning.

  • We were lucky enough to stay at the The Explorers Society Hotel while visiting Revelstoke and could not stay away from Quartermaster Eatery. We had dinner here two out of the four nights we were in town. We enjoyed the salmon which was amazing and the Cote de Boeuf which was some of the best prepared beef I have ever had. The atmosphere is sophisticated and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the drinks are wonderful.
